David is the President of Elevate Accounting and Consulting, LLC (Elevate). Elevate is a Company that provides fractional CFO/Controller services to small businesses in the Twin Cities area. David has over 20 years of experience leading financial and administrative functions as CFO for various small to mid-size businesses. David was a partner in the public accounting firm Baker Tilly, having spent over 13 years in public accounting. He served clients from $1 million to $100 million in revenue and provided financial, tax and consulting services. Whether it was tax compliance, providing financial statements to the bank, or assistance with buying or selling the business, his passion is to partner with clients to achieve their goals.

David’s educational background includes a BS degree in accounting from St. Cloud State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).

Key Experiences

• EOS Integrator - Successfully held the integrator seat in an Entrepreneur Operation System (EOS) company. The Integrator leads, manages, and provides accountability across the Company and has responsibility for all day-to-day operations of the business.

• Interim/Fractional CFO - Served one year as an interim CFO/Controller for an $80 million Health Care services client. Led design and implementation of procedures that delivered a $1 million improvement of working capital.

• Mergers and Acquisitions – Led industry-specific evaluation and selection; Provided financial and non-financial support market valuation and all aspects of due diligence (buy and sell side); Established deal terms with legal counsel.
